• Share Christmas Isle Madame: Once again, this year, the Knights of Columbus will be coordinating the delivery of Christmas Boxes to the needy families on Isle Madame. The CWL would like to add a small gift for the children in these families to help make their Christmas a little brighter and we are asking for your help. In the back of the church, you will see a tree with cardboard ornaments on which we have indicated the gender and age of these children. If you can, please take one and when you do your Christmas shopping buy an extra something for this person. Wrapped gifts can be dropped off under the tree and these will be collected and given to the Knights of Columbus to deliver with their boxes in time for Christmas. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
• Used Book Sale The Isle Madame Historical Society will be selling used books at The LeNoir Landing on the following days; Tuesdays & Thursdays - 3:00 - 5:00, Saturdays 2:00 - 4:00. Please drop by and find some new to you books!
• **Free Christmas Skate - Richmond Arena -CANCELLED Due to Conflict with Christmas Concerts and Parties Dec. 16, 2012 3:30pm — 5:00pm Come skate with Santa and have free hot chocolate, candy canes and cake!
• Christmas Dance at the L'Ardoise Legion, Br. 110 , on Saturday, Dec. 22/12. Music by Jason MacDonald, dance is from 9 pm - 1 am. 19 years and older with ID's on request. $7 per person.
• Tickets are now on sale for the New Year's Ball at the Parish hall in Louisdale on Monday, Dec. 31st from 10:00pm-2:00am. Music by Phil's Sights and Sounds. Couples $20.00, Singles $10.00. • A 2 Day Simply Accounting Training Session will be held at the St. Peter’s Learning and Technology Centre on Saturday, January 12th and Sunday, January 13th. Hands on activities will be the focus of the course and enable you to learn the skills and concepts more effectively. Each person will have access to a computer with Sage Simply Accounting 2013 Educational Version installed or you may take your own laptop with Simply Accounting installed. Hands on activities will be the focus of the course and enable you to learn the skills and concepts more effectively. The course will facilitate your learning by providing structured interaction with the Excel software itself. Each person will have access to a computer with Excel installed or you may take your own laptop with Excel installed. • Do you wish to know more about computers, e-mail, and the internet? A Basic Computer course will be offered at the Arichat C@P Site every Thursday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 for eight weeks starting January 17th.. • Le concert de Noël à l'École Beau-Port sera présenté en après-midi, avec deux spectacles. Le premier aura lieu le vendredi 14 décembre à 13h00 (1:00pm) et le deuxième sera le dimanche 16 décembre à 13h30 (1:30 pm). Le prix d'entrée est de 5$ la personne, payé à la porte (pas de billets à l'avance).
