What Are the Benefits of Massage Therapy? Massage Therapy is a wonderful way to help the body relax. It decreases anxiety, soothes aches and pains, increases circulation and lymphatic flow, releases tension, and aids the body in natural healing.
When you come in for a massage, it is recommended to arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. You will be asked to fill out a health history form and to sign a consent form for treatment purposes. At this point, if you are covered by insurance, you will be asked to provide insurance information for direct billing purposes. Before the treatment begins, the therapist will do an assessment to determine what type of treatment plan will be used.
